ALMA Chicago announced on August 3, 2026, that it would receive a portion of proceeds from Ariana Grande’s Chicago shows through her Brighter Days Ahead Foundation. ALMA’s work supports Latina and Latinx LGBTQ+ and gender-expansive communities.
The foundation’s stated approach is to support smaller grassroots organizations. ALMA’s announcement did not specify a finalized dollar amount, so this article does not assign one. The organization is the best place to check for details about the eventual contribution and the programmes it supports.
The story also shows why a charity headline should identify the recipient, scope and timing of a gift. “A portion” signals support, but without a final amount it should not be repeated as a specific donation total.
