BeyGOOD announced a $2.5 million LA Fire Relief Fund on January 12, 2025, after fires displaced families in Altadena and Pasadena. The announcement said the money was earmarked for families who lost homes, as well as churches and community centres responding to immediate needs.

The foundation also said it had been working with volunteer service organizations and churches to identify homeowners and residents most in need. That detail matters: locally connected groups often know which households face urgent gaps and how to reach them.

In an April 2025 update, BeyGOOD reported that the fund had distributed more than $3 million in direct cash assistance to over 200 homeowners and renters. That later figure is the foundation’s own reporting; readers can consult the linked official pages for methodology and updates.
